Alif Degree College
ALIF Degree College Mardan was established on 22nd Nov 2024 as a private higher education institution, aimed at delivering quality undergraduate programs in the region. Strategically located on Main Swabi Road, near Khan Qilla (Par Hoti), Mardan, the college is affiliated with Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan (AWKUM) and approved by the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan.
The foundation of ALIF Degree College is built upon the success of ALIF School and College for Girls, which was established on 1st June 2022. Initially offering education from Grade 7 to 2nd Year (Intermediate level), the institution provided pre-university programs in Pre-Medical, Pre-Engineering, Computer Science, and Humanities under affiliation with the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Mardan. Within a remarkably short span, the institution earned a strong academic reputation by consistently delivering 100% results and securing positions among the top 20 in board examinations. The institution is also affiliated with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Board of Technical Education (KPBTE) Peshawar for its DIT (Diploma in Information Technology) program.
Building upon this solid academic foundation, ALIF expanded into higher education by launching degree programs in BS Computer Science, BS English, and B.Ed, with three core departments: Computer Science, English, and Education. The campus is equipped with a modern library, advanced computer labs, and transport facilities, ensuring a conducive environment for academic growth.
With a clear vision for the future, ALIF Degree College plans to introduce additional departments and gradually evolve into a comprehensive university, committed to academic excellence and community development.

Project Manager’s Message
As I worked on bringing ALIF Degree College to life, I kept coming back to one question: What happens after a student graduates?
For me, a degree should never be the destination. It should be a starting point—a foundation that gives a young person the knowledge, skills and confidence to pursue higher education, build a meaningful career, create opportunities, and contribute to society.
That question has shaped so much of what we have tried to build at ALIF. From our academic programmes and faculty to technology, practical exposure, professional development and opportunities beyond the classroom, every decision has been made with our students’ futures in mind.
As Project Manager, being involved in this journey from the ground up has been both a privilege and a responsibility. What may simply appear to be the opening of a college represents months of planning, problem-solving, coordination and attention to countless details. There have been challenges along the way, but each one has made me more determined to build something that truly adds value to our students’ lives.
We are not simply building a college. We are building a foundation for what our students can become.
To our students: use this opportunity fully. Ask questions. Challenge yourself. Discover your strengths. Step outside your comfort zone. And never measure your education only by the degree you receive.
My hope is that years from now, when our graduates look back at their time at ALIF, they remember not only what they studied, but who they became along the way, more confident, more capable, more curious, and ready to take on the world.
This is only the beginning.
